Happy Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day is Wednesday, February 14th. Why not treat your sweetie to dinner at the Commander? Our Valentine’s Day dinner special is Steak and Lobster with a choice of baked potato or wild rice, soup or salad, plus dessert and champagne, all for $39.95!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
We’ve got a couple of fun holiday weekends coming up here at the Commander and JJ’s Pub! Stop by for JJ’s Bar Bingo on Saturday, December 23rd for your chance at the $1669 jackpot. Bingo starts at 2pm. Enjoy the music of Joel Edwin after bingo and watch the Vikings take on the Packers at 7:30pm. On Friday & Saturday party with “Music Junkies” at the Commander starting at 9pm. On Sunday, Christmas Eve, JJ’s will be closed, but the Commander will be open until 4pm (the kitchen closes at 1pm), and both JJ’s and the Commander will be closed on Christmas Day.
New Year’s weekend we’ve got Lisa Wenger playing at JJ’s after Bar Bingo on Saturday. and three nights of great entertainment at the Commander with “Vintage Raggs” on Friday, Saturday and Sunday — New Year’s Eve! Our New Year’s Eve dinner special are Osso Bucco with mashed potatoes, 5oz Tenderloin & Shrimp Scampi with choice of potato or wild rice, and 8oz Sirloin & Lobster Tail with choice of potato or wild rice. Commander Halloween Party!
Get your most awesome costume ready and join us on Saturday, October 28th for our big Commander Halloween Bash! We went completely over the top with the decorations this year, so we hope to see you dressed up and ready to party when Audio Circus takes the stage at 9pm! Cash prizes for the best costumes!
Kraut Fest!
Don’t miss the Pelican Lakes Conservation Club’s 10th Annual Kraut Fest coming up this Saturday, September 23rd! They’ll be serving up pork sandwiches, beans, German potato salad, and sauerkraut, all for only $6.00! And be sure to try a slice of Kraut cake for an extra dollar. The fun starts at noon in front of JJ’s Pub!
Happy Labor Day Weekend!
Join us at the Commander and JJ’s Pub for the last big holiday weekend of the summer! We’ll have 3 nights of great live music with “Pandemic” when they return to rock the Commander Friday, Saturday and Sunday nites. Enjoy music by the fabulous Mark Stary at JJ’s after Bingo on Saturday from 5-9pm. And speaking of Bingo, the jackpot for Saturday is up to $1482 in 56 numbers or less! (Are you feeling lucky?) Bar Bingo begins at 2pm. And end a perfect holiday weekend on Monday night with a little Commander Karaoke starting at 7pm! There’s alot going on, so don’t miss a minute of it!
Live Entertainment at the Commander and JJ’s Pub
July is HOT here at the Commander and JJ’s Pub. We’ve always got great live music every Friday and Saturday, but this week don’t miss Steven and Abby at JJ’s Pub Monday through Wednesday, July 10th, 11th and 12th at 7:30pm. And if you’re a Sinatra fan, you’ll want to be at the Commander on Sunday, July 16th and July 30th for a “Tribute to Sinatra” starting at 5:30pm. We hope to see you!
Super Bowl Party
Don’t miss our big Super Bowl Party at JJ’s Pub on Sunday, February 5th! Just $10 gets you yummy pre-game appetizers, a fabulous half-time buffet, and tons of great prize drawings. Commander Holiday Events
We want to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday Season and let you know about what’s coming up over the next couple of weeks. Friday, December 23rd, stop by JJ’s Pub for the meat raffle at 5:30, and party with “Pandemic” at the Commander starting at 9:30. On Saturday December 24th, the Commander will be closing at noon, but JJ’s Pub will be open for the Vikings-Packers game. The kitchen will be open during the game. So come out and cheer on the Vikes during the final game of the season! The Commander and JJ’s will both be closed on Christmas Day (so no karaoke on Sunday night). And make your plans to spend New Year’s Eve at the Commander with “Vintage Raggs”.
